The Flag Speaks
(To the mob who wanted to destroy it)

Flag:
Don’t idolize me
Don’t worship me
For I am nothing - but an element of things
Don’t be loyal to me
Don’t love me
But search your heart
What the heroes who died for
What your fore-fathers’ of the nation had fought with pride
Where the soul of the glory
And the foundation of the history be rested upon

Or have you neither place called country nor home
nor roots, nor ancestor-to look back?
So you, in moments of despair and disgusted

you dare to
Tear me up
Burn me down
Exposed to the world your darkest heart
of the wild jungle beasts
Or just a pretentious of your idealism and madness

But Remember EVERYTHING in life is matter and should be counted
Or ‘NOTHING’ will be counted at all!
Including the beasts, YOU, and ME

Tear me up?
Burn me down?
But I RISE again
high above!

I Am
the Symbol of Freedom and Righteousness
I am the Flag of a Proud Nation
I will live on
in the People’s Heart and Mind
I am the Flag of United States of America
I will always be flying high!
