Bóng Tối Cuộc Đời

Cuộn mình trong bóng tối

Cuộc đời ta mượn vay

Bỏ đi không đành đoạn

Bao nghĩa tình đắng cay

Lòng đêm cô đơn quá

Ta chờ gì trong đêm

Tay tìm tay chẳng tới

Mắt môi tê lạnh căm

Khoảng đời như ép chặc

Trong bóng tối thời gian

Nỗi đau cô đọng lại

Cứa vết hằn trong tim

Một lần thôi buông thả

Chấp tay xin thời gian

Mà chỉ nghe tiếng vội

Từ cõi lòng nát tan

Thôi thì thôi định mệnh

Hãy cứ đưa ta đi

Hãy dìm ta sâu xuông

Cùng một kiếp lưu đày

Thôi thì thôi định mệnh

Mang ta vào tối đen

Nơi tình yêu chỉ có

Tràn trề lệ  trong đêm

Nơi tình yêu chỉ có

Bóng đêm dài cô liêu

Nơi mà đời le lói

Ngọn nến tàn hắt hiu

In A Life’s Shadows

Deep down in the shadows

I live a borrowed life

Deep in the hollow’s depths

Shall this borrowed life be returned? 

or should it be kept?

A life of such entangled mess

No one close for me to reach to

No hands there for me to touch

Life estranges itself in the deep darkness

Time seems to hold me still – in timelessness

Despaired, desperation in my prayers - I beg

Only echoes return from the heartbeats

Despaired, despondent, oh! how it hurts

I ask - why so much pain - of life, in itself

Only seeing tears streaming from heartache

Take me then, shadows, take what you must

take me to where my fate and yours meet

where love has only tears shed

and life’s essence eventually fades

in time, as a candle burned out without regret.
